چکیده
Abstract Background Moju is a traditional rice beverage local to Jeonju with an alcohol content of 1–2%. made by boiling makgeolli several kinds medicinal herbs, such as ginger, jujube and cinnamon. The raw materials used in are well known for their physiological functional effects. Although materials, the operational role has not yet been reported. Objectives aim this study was identify anti-melanogenic effects B16F10 melanoma cells explore potential mechanisms. Results In study, we investigated antioxidant activity effect Moju. showed no toxicity HEK293T or cells. confirmed its ability increase radical scavenging activity. decreased tyrosinase concentration-dependent manner. At cellular level, reduced melanin synthesis expression proteins involved at concentrations 100, 250, 500 μg/mL addition, inhibited phosphorylation extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK). Conclusions These results provide evidence that occur through regulation ERK pathway. further research needed elucidate specific mechanism components, inhibit altering activation suggest it can be whitening ingredient.

Overproduction and stimulation of tyrosinase result in increased melanogenesis of which several skin disorders such as freckles, spots, and hyperpigmentation appear as complications. Limonium tetragonum is a halophyte well-known for its antioxidative properties. This study investigated the anti-melanogenic effects of solvent-partitioned L. tetragonum extracts (LTEs) and its bioactive constituen...

15 صفحه اولThe inhibition effects of melon on mushroom tyrosinase activity
The inhibition effects seed and peel of melon on diphenolase activity of mashroom tyrosinase were investigated. The IC50 values and Ki values of seed and peel of melon were evaluated. increased the Km value and decreased the Vm value so it show mixed type inhibition on mushroom tyrosinase when L-DOPA was used as a substrate.

For screening of skin-whitening ingredients that modulate inhibition of melanogenesis, tyrosinase promoter-based assay using a three-dimensional (3D) spheroid culture technique is a beneficial tool to improve the accuracy of raw material screening in cosmetics through mimicking of the in vivo microenvironment. Although the advantages of high-throughput screening (HTS) are widely known, there ha...
